A date for your diary: A week of monohull sailing

Port of Plymouth Regatta Week offers superb competitive racing for all classes of dinghies and yachts in Plymouth Sound including a day of Rookie Racing for the less experienced young sailor.

For the first time, RYA J80 Interclub Matchracing gives local teams the chance to battle it out in one-design qualifiers on afternoons of Monday 27 July to Wednesday 29 July with the final on the evening of Champagne Race Day - Thursday 30 July.

Champagne Race Day also offers local skippers a day race to an offshore buoy with feeder races from neighbouring ports culminating in the J80 finale in front of the Hoe. 

With a spectacular location to watch the racing and evening entertainment and shoreside events to match, Plymouth Regatta is the place to be for skippers, their crews and families from 25 July 2009.

Secure your place in the 2009 Regatta and save money by booking early. The first discount phase is now over but Early bird discounts still give you the opportunity to save up to £10 off your Regatta series entry fee - the last cut off date is the 31 June so get booking!
